Sales Development Representative

Being a Fidectus “Sales Development representative” is your opportunity to develop the skills for a career selling complex technical solutions to businesses. If selected, you will join an experienced sales team, engaging in customer-facing activities and prospecting from day one. Customer-facing sales are not for everyone but for those who want to work on the commercial side of the business and have the drive and talent required. You will get exposed to all aspects of the sales cycle. In addition, you will work closely with team members and have a mentor from the senior leadership team helping guide you. This entry-level B2B sales opportunity is your chance to work in a high-growth company in the Energy Industry.


Your Tasks

There will be extensive contact with customers, primarily by telephone and e-mail. 

  • Generating direct customer meetings and workshops 
  • Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products 
  • Follow up with customers and resolve any issues 
  • Keep customers informed on new offerings and solutions 
  • Compile proposals and reports related to the solution 
  • Reporting and documenting customer interactions in CRM software 
  • Qualify prospects per sales plan, budget, and decision making 
  • Support accurate and timely forecasts 
  • Handle sales process from prospecting through close and understand the process 
  • Manage customer presentations, quotes, RFIs, and RFPs

You have:

  • University degree or comparable knowledge from practical experience 
  • Desire to do consultative selling 
  • Must think on feet and take initiative 
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a result-oriented way 
  • Willingness to learn and become competent with the technology 
  • Positive, service-oriented personality 
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Must have German language skills
  • Eligibility to work and live in Switzerland
