This year will be my first time at Energy Trading Week (ETW) in London, and I couldn’t be more excited. ETW is a key moment in the energy trading calendar, bringing together leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across Europe and beyond.
I’ll be there with Fidectus, sharing a booth with our partner enmacc. By combining enmacc’s digital OTC execution with Fidectus’ post-trade automation, we can offer energy companies a seamless, end-to-end digital workflow, from trade conclusion through to confirmation, settlement, and reporting. Together, we enable greater efficiency, transparency, and innovation across the full trade lifecycle.
As a Sales Manager at Fidectus, my goal is to connect both with familiar faces and new ones. Events like ETW are perfect for building relationships, exchanging insights, and learning from peers across the industry.
I’m especially excited about the networking, catching up with colleagues and partners, and hearing from the panel discussions. In particular, I’ll be joining the “Exploring Critical Risk Areas in Energy Trading Today” roundtable and the “All Eyes on REMIT II: Scope, Implementation, Enforcement” panel discussion. Both sessions tackle some of the most pressing challenges our industry is facing, and I’m eager to learn, exchange views, and bring those insights back into conversations with clients and partners.
Why ETW matters
ETW brings together the people shaping the market. It’s a chance to explore trends, technologies, and challenges - and to get a feel for where the market is heading next.
For Fidectus, being there is about more than visibility: it’s about sharing a practical vision for streamlined, digitalised, and more efficient OTC trading and post-trade processes, and contributing to the broader discussion on the future of energy trading.
Advice for attendees
- Be curious: explore new approaches and challenge your assumptions.
- Be open: the best insights often come from unexpected conversations.
- Be connected: take the time to expand your network and build lasting relationships.
I’m really looking forward to two days of learning, sharing, and connecting. If you’re attending, I’d love to meet you at our booth with enmacc, at one of the sessions, or even just over a quick coffee. Let’s exchange ideas on how we can shape the future of energy trading together.
