After a few years away, I’m excited to return to Energy Trading Week in London, this time in a new role as Chief Operations and Product Officer at Fidectus. It’s a moment of reconnection: with the vibrant back-office and trading community, with familiar faces and new ones, and with the pulse of an industry that continues to evolve rapidly.
This event has always been more than just a conference. It’s where conversations spark ideas, where operational pain points meet innovative solutions, and where the future of energy trading is shaped, not in isolation, but through collaboration.
As someone who just joined Fidectus this month, my primary goal at ETW is simple: to listen and learn. I want to understand the real-world challenges our customers and partners face from confirmation and settlement to regulatory reporting and payment orchestration. These insights will directly inform how we shape our strategy and evolve our software to deliver even greater trust, control, and efficiency across the OTC post-trade lifecycle.
Fidectus is on a mission to become the digital backbone of automated OTC energy trading. We’re building a secure, interoperable hub that empowers traders, utilities, and brokers to streamline operations, reduce risk, and accelerate results. But strategy only works when it’s grounded in reality and that’s why I’m here.
