Zürich, Graz, June 10th, 2021 – Fidectus AG and SDK GmbH are pleased to announce that they have entered into a development partnership. As part of this collaboration, SDK will offer a native interface from its platform to the Fidectus Global Energy Network (GEN). This native interface enables energy traders of all sizes to access a plug-and-play path to settlement, netting, and financing via GEN, without the need for complex integration projects.
By closing this final gap in post-trade processing, the partnership addresses a critical component of traders’ digitalisation strategies, which are playing an increasingly important role across all areas of the energy trading value chain. As markets grow more complex and regulatory and operational demands increase, the ability to streamline post-trade workflows has become a key differentiator. New tools that improve cash flows, reduce credit risk, and deliver operational efficiencies are rapidly becoming the competitive vanguard of next-generation post-trade processing.
The Fidectus–SDK partnership combines deep expertise in business process optimisation and technology development, enabling rapid deployment and scalable adoption. Together, the companies aim to support energy traders in modernising their post-trade operations, improving transparency, and strengthening financial and operational resilience in an evolving market landscape.
In addition, the partnership is designed to support future growth and innovation, allowing both firms to respond quickly to changing market requirements. By aligning their development roadmaps, Fidectus and SDK will continue to enhance interoperability and expand functionality over time, ensuring that customers benefit from a flexible solution that evolves alongside regulatory, commercial, and technological developments within the energy trading ecosystem.
