Senior QA Analyst

As a Senior QA Analyst with a passion for testing, you will be responsible for the quality of our new features and product releases by creating and executing tests. You will become a power user of post-trade features and workflows and design effective tests for them.

Overview

The Senior QA Analyst plays an important part in our company’s product development lifecycle. Working within a small Agile dev team, you will work closely with developers and product owners to design, plan and execute tests as well as assist in remediation of defects. You will become an expert user of our product.

Responsibilities

Learn existing and new software product features, business workflows, and user journeys with a focus on testability and test design
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Work closely with developers within an Agile (SCRUM) process to identify and remediate defects
Execute regression testing of existing features
Execute acceptance testing of new features
Perform exploratory testing
Identify, record, document, and track bugs
Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements

University degree or comparable knowledge from practical experience
Good written and spoken English language skills
The ability to work autonomously and in a result-oriented way
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and a self-driven mindset
Proven work experience in software quality assurance (3 years)
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with testing tools
Familiarity with backend and frontend software development technology
Experience with automated testing and load testing is a plus
